If you were thinking you’d like to put together an awesome symposium at next year’s International IUSSI Congress in San Diego (yes, I know you were!), now’s the time to get on it. Just a few weeks left before the symposium deadline, Friday May 31st. The guidelines and instructions are available here:
The Congress is going to be a great venue for rebuilding research networks and empowering the next generation of social insect biologists after a crazy isolating pandemic year. What are the big questions we should be tackling? What new advances in technology should we be adopting in our field? How can we best leverage diversity of all kinds amongst our international membership to build the kind of research community that we hope to be? Symposia address all of these questions and more, and they are a big part of what makes our congresses so useful. The Planning Committee really hopes to see your submissions rolling in!
