It is with great pleasure that we announce the IUSSI-NAS Spring Student Awards! There are four awards to support graduate student research on social insects, one for each of the four major social insect groups.
We are also pleased to announce the Mary Jane West-Eberhard Best Paper Award, which is presented to the best first author peer-reviewed research article published by a student (undergraduate or graduate level) in the areas of social behavior and/or evolution in social arthropods at any time in 2025.
For all of these awards, the due date for applications is April 22nd.
Applicants are encouraged to join the IUSSI, but membership is not required for consideration.
